Rocky Mountain Legends Racing Association The RMLRA is the Colorado Front Range series. We race at four tracks, located in Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. In 2008, 42 drivers raced with our series over our 30 week schedule. The main track that hosts the RMLRA is Colorado National Speedway in Dacano, Co. This is the biggest track we race on with the largest crowds in attendance. Our drivers like the track because it is fast, but also for the fans that show up each week to cheer us on. After the races, our drivers like to say thank you to the fans for showing up, by signing autographs and talking to the fans who want to know more about our series.

Legends Racing Legends Cars are created by 600 Racing, Inc. and sanctioned by INEX, Corp. to provide a fun and affordable racing opportunity in which anyone (experienced or inexperienced) can compete. This series fights the high costs involved in racing, and the rules are strictly enforced to ensure safety and cost control. The Legend Cars are 5/8-scale fiberglass full-fendered versions of the famed NASCAR modifieds.
Drivers Our series is unique as we have a wide variety in ages for our drivers. Our series allows drivers as young as 14 to race, most of which come out of quarter midgets to compete in a higher level of racing. We also have older drivers who have raced for many years, and enjoy the thrill of competition. Due to the age differences, our series has four different classes that all run together. The Young Lions are drivers from 14 to 16 years old. The Semi-Pro division is for beginner drivers who are just starting in racing, while the Pro division is for drivers who are more experienced or have raced in other divisions before. Lastly, we have the Masters division, which are the drivers who are 40 years or older. An advantage for the legend cars are that the cars can be raced all over the country. There are hundreds of tracks that the Legends race at each year, and most are raced on every week. Many of our drivers like to travel to other tracks during the summer, and this allows an opportunity for national exposure for a sponsor. The legends series is also a great place to get started in racing. Many drivers like Dale Earnhardt Jr., David Ragan, Reed Sorenson, Kyle Busch, and Kurt Busch, all raced in the Legends series. The Legends are a great feeder class that teaches the drivers the basic setup and driving skills that are needed for the higher divisions.
Kyle Clegg won the RMLRA championship for 2010, along with winning it in 2008, and will be back competing for the championship again in 2011. Wayne Barlock, our 2009 RMLRA Champion, will be back to run for a championship again in 2011, hoping to take the top spot away from Kyle Clegg. Tyler Chrisinger won the Legends Championship at Colorado National Speedway in 2007, and raced in the Late Model division there in 2008. He finished 7th in points and won Rookie of the Year.
