Derek
started racing quarter midgets when he was 8 years old. He moved up
racing the bigger and faster classes as he got older. At the Eastern
Grands racing his Light AA he finished ninth in the nation. The last year he
raced quartermidgets he raced in the world formula class and set track records
at Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Albuqurque, and Denver. He sarted racing
Legends at 14 and finished second in rookie points behind Corey Seip in his
rookie year. Derek is a junior in high school and plays Lacrosse. |
