Scotty Scott grew up around racing as his Dad and uncle, Bill McHone, raced late models and super modifieds in Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska. He also helped build mini-stocks and helped with sprint cars along the way. In 2007, he was given a chance to drive his Bill McHone's Legend Car, #06. This is something he had always wanted to do and he will always be grateful to Bill for giving him a chance to finally get behind the wheel. In 2008, he bought the '34 Ford Coupe he currently drives. The best part of the whole racing experience so far has been making a lot of new friends and especially spending time with old friends and his Dad working on the car. Scotty finished 10th in RMLRA in 2009.
