The 2012 season is only seven weeks down the road when hot laps will start March 17 at Colorado National Speedway. Before this happens we need all drivers to try an attend our meeting on February 4 at Leary Racing Products, 1990 South Navajo ST. In Denver. This meeting will start at 10:00 am and run for about two hours. Please bring a chair with you as chairs are limited. This meeting will consist of election of officers for the 2012 season, and signing up with the RMLRA for the 2012 season, and many other items before getting on the race track. The schedule has been released and is tentative untill the races are sanctioned by INEX. The CNS races have been sanctioned and are on the national schedule. You can keep track of it by visiting the USLegends web page.  If you are interested in running for an elected RMLRA official, please attend and let people know that you are interested.

In the Newsletter after the banquet I forgot to mention that the Rookie of the Year award went to #85 Cole MacEwen. I did make the correction for our web page and Joe Starr made the change on the Big West Racing web site. Cole got into Legend racing after attending a driving school at Pikes Peak Raceway just south of Colorado Springs.  Cole had a good season and did a great job of driving. He only missed one race last season and you can expect him to race hard this season. He ended up in sixth place in the final 2011 point standings. The mailing list that went out early Sunday morning did
not have this change of information on it.
