The rains came after practice and timing and the track was cold and very slick conditions were what the local drivers of Big Country Speedway and the RMLRA Legend drivers faced last night.  Not to mention the water that was in the infield with lots of mud. Leaving the track at 10:30 PM also was late night entertainment for me as I had a flat tire on the way home near exit #235. I want to say thanks to Corey Seip who answered my distress call via Scotty Scott. Corey arrived and changed my tire for me. What a time to have a flat on my car. Thanks to Greg Witherwax who also stopped and asked if we needed help.

Fourteen Legend cars on hand as probably many stayed at home and watched it rain. Asher Redmond of Longmont made hie season debut driving the number forty-two. I can say that if a bumper got bent that was about all the contact I saw last night. Drivers you did well.

Larry Pachello and Jason Irwin won the heat races and Jason also had the quick time for the night. Next race May 30, I-25 Speedway. See you there.

Jason Irwin who travels to many race tracks and does well started in the fifth row last night and
his car handled very well and drove it to the front after several laps. Scotty Scott made it three
second places in a row to start the season. Bryan Grandin a pro out of Las Vegas also came
from the back and finished a strong third.
