It was cloudy and a little bit chilly Saturday morning, but the sun came out as advertised and as the weather warmed up so did the cars. Sixteen Legends cars were on hand at the speedway for inspections and hot laps. On hand were #3 Wayne Barlock, #4 Brad Tiltonʼs car driven by Glen Tilton, #9 Glen Tilton, #11 Jessica Savage, #12 Cody Castor, #13, Pete Delarco, #17 Bre Ann Adkins, @19 Larry Pachello, #24 car of Derek Pechman driven by Don Bedore, #25 Adam Pechman, #30 Darrell J. Stewart, #34 Chris Cooper, #99 Brady Van Matre #03 Darrell Stewart, #04 Dillon Foster, #06 Mike Gallegos and #09 Terry McBride.


Drivers the season opens up April 19, 2014 at Colorado National Speedway and your INEX license must be paid by then or the INEX application and check must be paid to race that evening. Possibly you may have sent your application in to INEX and have not received your license back yet. I do have a list of twenty-five Colorado drivers that have paid for their license, and four drivers from Wyoming. If you need help finding the application, contact me.

There were many cars at the track today from the racing divisions that race at CNS. To our new drivers, make a copy of your title and license and have them available at the track when asked to see them.

In an attempt by the speedway to eliminate oil on the track, Greg Witherwax explained a new procedure when involved in an accident. You will shut your car engine off and wait at that position on the track. Track workers will be on the scene as the yellow flag shows caution on the speedway. The track workers will check out your car for oil leaks. If no leaks you will be placed in the proper position by the track officials.

Drivers it is important that you check oil lines often as they are sometimes known to cause oil leaks to appear on the track. The track is very concerned about this and they want you to check your oil lines and drain plugs often.

I-25 Speedway will have their practice on Saturdays. April, 19, 26. Two dates in May are May 3, 10. The practice hours are 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM. Entry into the pits are $20.00 per person. Wednesday night practice will begin May 21, from 4:00 PM till dark. A twenty-five dollar entry fee to the pits per car.
