Eggleston and Clegg win double header features at CNS

Saturday evening at CNS Chris Eggleston held on to win the first feature of two for the evening. Chris has started out the season at CNS winning the first three features of the season. A great race after several restarts for accidents early in the race. Danny Medina and Kyle Clegg battled Chris for the win. They both finished within 0.860 of the winner at the checkered flag. In the second feature of the evening, Kyle Clegg held off Chris Eggleston and Danny Medina in a tightly fought race for the win. The top three drivers finished within 0.416 of each other. What a great race for the win. Chris Eggleston led all thirty-two cars in qualifying with a 18.752 Thirty two cars is our largest turnout this season. Eric Hipkins made his season debut Saturday night. Good to see you back Eric. Thanks to all who helped fill the thirty two car field.

Next weekend we head to I-25 Speedway for the races. Join us if you can.

PLAN YOUR TWO RACING WEEKEND NOW @ GERING, NE

We are scheduled June 22/23 and July 14/15 a Friday-Saturday night race at Hwy 92 in Gering, NE This is a reminder for you to plan ahead and make the trip to race and enjoy the good times that we have as a group. It is a small town with Scottsbluff right beside it. There is a steak house near the motels for after the races and in the morning for breakfast a Shari’s Restaurant is also very close. Do plan ahead and try to join the RMLRA on these trips. A free concert in the pits is also scheduled for one of these weekends. In case you have never been there the track is a quarter mile oval with tight turns and decent straight aways. The speeds are slower than Colorado National Speedway and a fun track to race on.
