The largest turnout of Legend cars this season for an RMLRA race last night with twenty-eight cars on hand and starting the twenty-five lap feature. Thanks to everyone who showed up, and especially to the four cars that made the trip up from Albuquerque, NM.

Justin Irwin held off many attempts by Chris Eggleston to win this race. Justin holds down the number one position in the Pro division standings in the INEX points race for the National championship. There was a very good field of Pro division cars on hand last night and it was a great race. Two of the local Pros, Danny Medina and Kyle Ray ran into some problems with their bumpers and had to leave the track. Ray did get back out on the track and was one lap down. Danny left under green flag conditions and did not get back in the race. Medina had to start at the back of the field after pulling out of the heat race when making contact with another car and suffering minor front end damage. The car was repaired and Danny was coming on strong before his bumper came off. With all the caution flags last night, Danny may have been able to come from last and win a feature. During the race six cars were under nineteen-seconds, with 18.719 as the fastest lap. A few two many caution flags in last nights feature was a small problem last night and when the line ups are given I think we need to close up the cars a little quicker. I usually wait until I hear one to go at the stripe and then get everyone to double up for the restart. I will see if I can get a little more advance time on that to keep cars from going at high speeds to get in line.

Three heat races were ran last night with Kyle Clegg, Kyle Ray and Chris Eggleston winning those races.
