Saturday was the first day of practice and nine Legend cars were on hand to have their cars inspected, and had the opportunity to get on the track and get a feel for the changes that may have been made during the off season. Two new drivers, #17 BreAnn Adkison and #09 Terry McBride took to the track in a Legends race car for their first time. Other drivers on hand yesterday while I was there were #3 Wayne Barlock, #6 Scotty Scott, #25 Adam Pechman, #31 Tim Mein, #34 Chris Cooper, #71 Craig Coughlin and #97 Bill Blevins.

It was on the cool side in the morning and it was around noon before the cars were able to get on the track. It was a good day to meet everyone that was new to the organization. I only stayed untill the second practice was over. Not many cars were on the track as they worked on them. One thing to pass along is to make sure your battery and transponder are charged up when you come to the track. It will eliminate some minor problems on the car. They have set all winter and might have been neglected while getting ready to get on the track.
