![]() Great weather for March and a good turnout of cars The weather was so warm yesterday that many people were observed wearing shorts in the pits at CNS. Many Legend cars were on hand for tech and some opening practice. Thank to all of you who were on hand to represent Legend Car racing in our area. With so many classes of cars in the pits the Legend cars were on the track for three different times to practice. Many new drivers were there and saw their first practice time on the track. For those of you who were there the track had a lot of dirt on it and made for a slick trick and very dusty. Due to all the windy weather this spring I am sure that it deposited a lot of dirt on the track. Their are still a few drivers that have not applied for their INEX licenses. If you have not heard from INEX it may be in the mail. Contact me and I can check for you on your license. You need to have a license by your first INEX sanctioned racing date. CNS tech and practice will continue next weekend. Hopefully the weather will hold out. I-25 Speedway has open practice April 8,15,22,29. Dan Adkison from Big Country Speedway told me that he would let me know when they were going to open for practice. We encourage the younger drivers to try and get out to practice and get some experience with their cars. Legend drivers and cars on hand yesterday were 1. Jereme Wall 2. Floyd Whiting 3.
