Danny Medina will tell you that he knows his way around i25 Speedway. He has won many feature races there. After passing early leader Larry Pachello, Danny, Scotty Scott and Adam Pechman stayed very close to the front of this twenty-five lap race. Several restarts during the race kept it close. Zach Witherwax and Travis Roe were also in the top five of this feature race.

Sixteen Legend cars on hand Saturday evening which saw the temperatures drop when the sun went down. It was a very cold evening during the feature races. Thanks to all of you who made the trip to race. Our Legends Cars were the largest class at the track last night.

We had two new drivers join us at the track and we hope to see more of them this season. Driving the #56 car will be co-drivers, Matthew and Christina Ratzlaff of Monte Vista, Colorado. They purchased the car from Luke Johnson who raced with us last season. Both drivers are listed as semi-pro. Also joining us was Matt Martinez of Parker driving the 71X. His brother Frank drove the car several times last season. Drivers welcome to the RMLRA and we hope that you have a great time racing your Legends Cars. Also back on the track for the first time this season was #59 C. J. Wilson of Penrose, CO. and #8 Eric Hipkins of Woodland Park.

The bad news came from #7 Corey Seip as he lost an engine during the feature in which he was running very strong. #57 Adam Osborne had something break in the rear end of the car and hit the number four turn wall hard during practice. The car will need a lot of work to get back on the track.

In qualifying #6 Scotty Scott turned in the quick time. Corey Seip won the trophy dash with Wayne Barlock Jr winning the fast heat, and CJ Wilson the slow heat.

I hope to see many of you this weekend at the two day show in Gering and Cheyenne
