Dear
racing family
Josiah had another follow up appointment today, he is healing well. His
hand cast will come off in 3 weeks, at that time they will recheck the knee. So
far so good. It is in 8 pieces, so it will be a long process of checking removing
pins slowly and rechecking, The good news is that it is still aligned and so no
surgery is needed yet! The ligaments in his ankle are also healing and like I
said he is coming along nicely! Bill Josiah and myself wanted to express how
much the support we have received from all of you has meant to us. We have been
blessed all around! From friends like you, to how minimal Josiah's injuries
actually were. We have so much to be thankful for! Josiah's biggest
"hurt" is learning to deal with the fact that he wont be able
to race again until next season. He was also disappointed when he realized that
this was his 6th race, so he will no longer be a rookie! lol kids, got to love
how their brains work! Again, we thank you for all the prayers, support, and
well wishes! Dea King (mom) |
