Thank you to everyone who has raced with us during the season! We truly appreciate you spending your time with us! The September 24th race at Gering is shaping up to be one of the most enjoyable race weekends in quite some time. The winner will receive 1,000$. This does not depend on how many cars are present. The RMRLA will be handing out embroidered duffle bags filled with goodies to each driver that is present also! Friday will be open practice with food being provided. Saturday will be race day! This part of HiWay 92’s annual High Plains shootout and is a fun race weekend. For those of you that have never been to HiWay 92 race track this is a great opportunity to spend a fun weekend out of town. For those of you that have not heard, our Vice President John Ulander has purchased HiWay 92 Speedway and will take over the facility and running of the race track in 2017! The last points race for the RMLRA will take place on October 1st at Colorado National Speedway. According to the race track there will be two features ran. The RMLRA is in possession of the new coupe chassis that will be raffled away at the year-end banquet. Since a few rain outs have happened the RMLRA board has decided to change the criteria a bit for the raffle. To get one drawing in the raffle you must have competed in at least 17 races, and to receive 2 drawings in the raffle you must have competed in at least 22 RMLRA races. You also must be a RMLRA member and be present at the banquet. Any questions please reach out to a board member. Good luck for the rest of the season! RMLRA Board |
