Message from Mike Gallegos

I would like to start off by thanking the racers that attended last week's racing. I believe we had 22 cars sign in and race during the night and the racing was fun to watch! Danny Medina was the winner of the first race, and Chris Eggleston was the winner of the second feature! During the second feature Kyle Clegg had a scoring issue that was later rectified with 600 Racing and Colorado National Speedway. He is now scored as the 7th place finisher. The RMLRA supports this decision and Kyle will now also get 7th place points with the RMLRA. Remember, the RMLRA does not have any authority or control at the race tracks we visit. If there are any questions please feel free to reach out to Mike Gallegos, or John Ulander.

This weekend is a double feature weekend at I25 speedway. You will receive RMLRA points for the first feature of the night. It is always hot in Pueblo so please take the precautions necessary to keep hydrated.

Tim Cooper will be the INEX tech director down there. If you do not know him take a moment to walk over and introduce yourself. Tim has been around racing for 20 plus years and his son Chris is an accomplished legend racer.
The year has been fantastic so far. The RMLRA truly appreciates the support that it is given. If anyone ever has any concerns or thoughts please reach out to a board member. We are all very approachable.

We would also like to thank those of you who joined the club for the first time this year.  Last Saturday was the last day to have the Iron Fortress decal on the top of  the windshield area. If you are a member and wish to be eligible to receive the money that is related to the year end points fund and chassis give away you must have this decal in place.

This week the driver profile is on third place in points Jason Hulvey! Jason drives the car number 47
