#39 Kody Clegg of Westminster, Colorado. His racing experience includes two years in Quarter Midgets.  Kody is fourteen years old and will be attending Stanley Lake High School next fall. His brother Kyle, who drives the # 66 and father Dan, will provide him with a good race car for the upcoming season. This car will be sponsored by DND Metal of Broomfield.  He comes into the Legends racing, after watching his brother Kyle race in the RMLRA for several seasons. He plans to race part time around Lacrosse and Football. Kody is an honor student at Mandilay Middle School and also an excellent athlete. He plays for the Boulder Valley Select Lacrosse team, Stanley Lake silver crown basketball, and has been the starting quarterback for the Stanley Lake Spartans for the past three years.

#52 Eric Hipkins of Woodland Park, Colorado. He will be driving the # 52 car. Eric is a twenty year veteran of the U.S. Army, and has served in Colombia, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. He has no organized racing experience, but has been practicing at PPIR.  Eric says that he is looking forward to meeting everyone, and to help promote Legend Racing in our area. He is working on a sponsorship with Alone and Unafraid. They plan to sponsor Eric and Scotty Griffith this season. He also plans to attend the University of Colorado in the fall to work on his PHD. He plans to run a limited schedule this year. I will try to release more information on the sponsorship as I receive it.

#23 Mike Morris of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mike will drive the Wild Wings’n Things # 23 Legend this season. Loonees Comedy Corner will also be a co-sponsor. Racing a limited schedule due to work, he will probably just be racing at I-25 Speedway. His racing experience includes Late Models, Sportsman, Minis, Dirt Bikes and some Indy car experience. Mike says he got into Legends for the need of speed and excitement.
