The RMLRA Board met last night and finished up the business on hand and are now ready for the 2011 season to begin. As mentioned in the last Newsletter, Colorado National Speedway announced the use of transponders this season at their track. For those of you who are new to the transponders, they are to be mounted on the right rear down tube. Transponders will be available this Saturday at Colorado National. Please check the CNS web page for details on the transponder.

Safety inspections and hot lap practice will take place the next two Saturdays. Please be advised there are several divisions of cars on hand and the practice sessions are limited. It will depend on the number of cars and divisions on hand that determine the time, that you will have on the track to practice. Be sure to have your Raceceiver set for channel 165 when you are on the track. Check with me in the pits if you are having
problems with your Raceceiver.

Federal tires are not available at this time and are not expected to arrive in the US untill mid April. BFG tires will be permitted in Colorado for at least the first two races.  This could change if tires become available earlier than expected.
