Just a week away from the 2017 RMLRA membership meeting and we are looking for a good turnout at the meeting. As mentioned before we do not meet but possibly twice a year away from the track. It is important for you to attend if possible and give input at this time. It is important to not leave the meeting without any questions answered.

You can make out your 2017 membership application and bring it with you to the meeting. The 2017 application for the club can be seen and copied from our internet site www.rmlra.org. Go to the home page and scan down the left side until you see become a member. Make a copy, fill it out, bring your check with you and you do not have to stand in line. Each car has two votes but must be members to vote. Drivers/Owners membership $35.00 Associate membership $25.00 A schedule may be ready for the 2017 season. If so it will be handed out at the meeting. Do try to support the tracks at Cheyenne, Gering and Pueblo. We are going to have a lot of races on our schedule and hopefully you will include them on your race nights. It will be a season of racing weekends. So plan now and we will see you in the pits. Each track will host a double feature.

The points for 2017 will probably consist of the best twenty races run and the tracks that you race at to qualify for the points championship. This will all be explained at the meeting. The driver must be a member of the RMLRA to accumulate points for the RMLRA championship. A newsletter will be released that day with all the highlights of the meeting.

Many of you have been issued your 2017 INEX license and you will see it in the mail in the next month. Just remember that you need to have it by the first race that you race in. You can practice in March at CNS without a license.
