Racing resumes this Saturday night for the RMLRA at Colorado National Speedway.
The weather forecast for Saturday is very hot weather. For those of you who did not make the trip last weekend, it was a good time. As mentioned before the short tracks are the tracks to learn how to make the set ups on your cars and race on a different track and surface. Next weekend June 16 we will be racing at I-25 in Pueblo. This will be the first of two Colorado National Regionals to qualify for the Asphalt Nationals later this fall. Many of the cars that raced this past weekend were first and second year drivers. We will continue to see more new drivers joing the organization to race as I think that we have a very good group of drivers racing with us this season and they should only get better as they get more experience on the track with their cars. With the car count that we usually have, it makes for a good racing show for the fans and good competition among the drivers. In the past month we have heard that several cars that had been listed on the RMLRA web page have been sold and these cars will be joining the group to race later this season.

Drivers please check the condition of your oil lines that have been a problem this season. This preventive maintenance will help everyone on the track and keep the track helpers from having to sweep the track when the oil dry has to be used. Do your part as we only get thirty minutes to run a feature race.

See you in the Pits.
