![]() RMLRA racing this weekend September 8 closes out the 2012 season at the I-25 Speedway. This will be our fifth scheduled race date at this track. At CNS last weekend there were twenty-seven cars on hand to race. Several cars were helped off the track with the help of the tow truck. It is hoped to be that they will be ready to race this weekend. Again, thanks to all of you who support the RMLRA. As the season nears the end, information is coming that there are several new drivers preparing for 2013. If anyone on the staff of the RMLRA can help you with advice in buying a used car or new, please don't be afraid to ask questions. Look these used cars over carefully and try to find the correct gear ratio. Try to get the history on the engine, and make a decision on an open 1200 or the sealed 1250. The open 1200 can be repaired locally, but the 1250 must be sent back to the USLCI engine shop in Harrisburg, North Carolina. Just a reminder that there are RMLRA T-shirts available for sale. Please try to support this fund raiser. T-shirts are priced at twenty dollars and can be bought from the officers of the RMLRA. For some of the new drivers that have shown interest in Legend Racing this summer and would like to follow the East Coast action. Here is a link to go to in case you have not been to the web page. Sometimes you will find good information and sometimes someone will complain about how USLegends is running the program. You should be able to read about cars for sale and just about anything that has to do with Legends. http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/legendscars/messages |
