![]() A week off from the racing schedule and possibly a great July 4th holiday enjoyed by everyone. Legend racing returns this Saturday, July 7th at Colorado National Speedway. The weather may give us a little break as several local television channels are calling for cooler weather and possible rain showers. There should be a good field of cars on hand for the races, so charge up your transmitter and head for the track this Saturday. Kyle Ray should be back at the track looking for his second straight feature win after taking the checkered flag in the feature at CNS on June 23. RMLRA POINT STANDINGS As the season nears the half way portion of the schedule Kyle Clegg leads Corey Seip by a forty point margin. Scotty Scott, Brandon Moore, Kyle Ray, David Hondel and Zachary Witherwax are still in contention with eleven races still left on the 2012 schedule.CNS POINT STANDINGS Mike Gallegos leads the race for the CNS track championship by twenty-five points over Kyle Clegg. All it takes is a mistake and the race for bragging rights on the big speedway could become tight.Mike Morris owner and driver of the number twenty-three car has sold his car. A car has been bought from a nearby state and the driver should be out racing in the next month. I received this information while away from home two weeks ago. We still have several cars that have not appeared on the track this season. Indications are, that they may be on the track in the next few weeks. Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday at CNS. See you in the Pits. |
