Chris Cooper crowned 2013 RMLRA Champion

Saturday evening drivers, crew members and friends gathered at the Wholly Stromboli in Fort Lupton for the 2013 Awards Banquet. Chris Cooper hauled home the first place trophy. This was the fourth season of Legend Racing for Chris.

The car was at all twenty-two of the races. The only race that he missed was the last non-points race at CNS.During his short speech he thanked his Dad for all the work, time and financial help that goes with winning the title. Chris did walk away with a special award earlier in the evening as he was credited with the best AERIAL of the season. This happened at Colorado National Speeday on the back straight away. Many drivers attended the event and walked away with a lot of pit passes, and two 2014 INEX drivers licenses, discounts from HO Motorsports and many other items. The History of the Rocky Mountain Legends

As announced at the Awards Dinner, we will be releasing an article on the RMLRA web page by the end of the year. It contains a lot of information from the first race in 1995 up to and including 2013, This is information that I have kept on my computer and a lot, from remembering the events and good times when we formed the Legends to race in 1995. I could use a few pictures from the early days. If you might have some please send them to me so we can include them with the article. Please send to, ckar77@comcast.net
