This is the slow time of the year to report anything exciting that is going on and as cold as it has been you may not even be out in the garage unless you have some heat out there. John Ulander talked to me Friday evening and told me that the club is working on several projects for the upcoming season. No information to report for a meeting of the RMLRA in January, We are waiting on an open date during the month of January to hold the meeting. We will pass along this information once it is made known. Again the next meeting of the club will include election of officers.

Jason Irwin who races out of Albuquerque, NM, has won the US Legends Cars Asphalt Oval Championship racing in the Pro Division at this event. Jason raced this past season seven times with the R.M.L.R.A. Jason won three of these events and was a contender in the other races. This race team travelled many miles during the 2013 season to win this title. They raced a total of fifty-eight races which included six road course races. Thirtysix of these races were feature wins. Irwin Racing LLC, also is a Legend dealer that operates out of Albuquerque, NM. This racing team has been racing Legends for many years and it started with an older son Justin who also claimed a national championship. Their father Randy, also has a spare car in the trailer and sometimes climbs into the seat for a feature race to make sure their are enough Pro's entered in the race to assure the maximum points for the winner of the race.
