After a weekend off it is time to recharge those transponders. With a little luck with the
weather scheduled for this Saturday, the RMLRA will return to Colorado National Speedway for the second race of the season. Jon Krizman of Loveland will be trying for his second feature win of the season. Jon driving the #8 Legend stayed in contention April 9 as Barlock and Clegg battled for the lead throughout the twenty-five lap race. Jon took over the lead near the end of the race and beat Kyle Ray to the checkered flag. Both drivers should be back to try for the feature win, along with several contenders.

At this time of the week it was rumored that we could be expecting at least three out of state drivers to be on hand.  This is the last week for early starts at CNS. Tell your friends that the early races start at 3:00 PM and the Legends have a heat race then. Pit gates open at 9:00 AM and the Legends first practice is scheduled at 11:00 AM.

The National points was posted Wednesday, at U. S. Legends and can be viewed on the Colorado schedule. Two drivers who raced April 9 do not have there license active, and will not receive points. Please contact the  uslegends if you have a problem. Local RMLRA points are posted on our web page.

John Ulander does have a copy of the valid INEX licenses for 2011. If you think that
you have not heard from INEX with your license, please contact John to verify your license. If you see your name posted on the points list, your license is valid.

Remember to have your INEX license and car title with you when attending a racing event. Make a copy of the original and put it in your trailer or tool box.  Five drivers made the trip to I-25 this past weekend to familiarize themselves with the track. We will be there at least three times this season. We do have a tentative date that
is on hold at this time.

The Federal tires have arrived in Denver. Tires are being cut. April 23 is the last day for BF Goodrich tires. They may now be junked or given to someone to test drive a Legend.
