![]() The RMLRA has this announcement to send out to the membership. Tim Cooper in an email announcement to the RMLRA Board announced his resignation due to a work schedule that has him unable to full fill his elected office as President of the RMLRA this season. He accepted the office in January but told me that his work schedule has become out of control and doesn’t allow him any personal time for the next couple of months or longer. Tim does own a business in Frederick, Creative Business & Welding, and we all know that when the customer needs work done, you have to keep them satisfied. Tim also said that by stepping down early, he would not hurt the progress of the club. Mike Gallegos will assume the office as president of the RMLRA. In speaking with Mike Thursday morning he told me that the board officers will be meeting next Tuesday, and filling the office as vice president will be on the agenda. With the board meeting, Mike told me that there will be some good information to be released to the membership. He also told me that he is looking forward to working with all the owners and drivers to make the club successful for the upcoming season. If you want to ask Mike any questions he welcomes your input. Please contact Mike Gallegos, mgkart@aol.com Chris Eggleston will be racing in a big Late Model race in Bakersfield, California on Saturday night. We want to wish Chris good luck in this race and throughout the season. |
