Still looking to hear from a few drivers that have not contacted us through the winter. Corey and Bill Seip had their cars at the track for the first time. The three new drivers, Josh Richard, Garrett Richard and Larry Pachello were at the track. These three drivers are trying to figure out the combination of the car and track. It seemed to me that their speeds were starting to increase with the track time that they were getting. CNS will be open this Saturday at 11:00 AM untill 4:30 PM. In talking with several Legend drivers, they are waiting on parts and possibly tires. Last weekends practice was very quiet as many cars were not in attendance to practice from the other racing divisions that race at CNS. I would think they are just saving money by not wearing out their tires. It appears that Brittany Duncan will not be racing this summer in her #78. In talking with Alan Duncan he will be available to do repair work if so needed. He has a lot of equipment and does very good work. He is also trying to sell the #78 car, if you are interested or know somebody that is looking for a good car. This car is listed on the RMLRA.org/classifieds web page. If you are looking for carburetor rebuilds, Danny Medina can help you out. Danny lives in Colorado Springs and I can pass along his email address or telephone number if you need your carburetors rebuilt. Contact me for this information. Brian Bohannon #57 who only raced twice with us last season is very busy at work and has expressed to me that he would like to sell his car as it looks like he will be very busy this summer. |
