RMLRA Members

Received this information tonight from Mike Gallegos and wanted to get this out to all of our Legend drivers that will be racing with us this season. This will be a prize that will be given away at the end of the season at our RMLRA Banquet, so please read.

The RMLRA has some exciting news it would like to announce for the 2015 racing season. No Limit Logistics, in conjunction with HO Motorsports, are going to raffle a fresh open 1200 Motor worth $4,700 to a qualifying RMLRA driver at the season ending banquet.

The RMLRA would like to thank Craig Bedore with No Limit Logistics for coming on board for the first time with the RMLRA. Craig is no stranger to the RMLRA or legend cars, having competed in Tennessee and a few times with the RMLRA at CNS in previous years. His father is the driver of the #83 machine, Don Bedore. If your business ships freight please consider calling Craig and getting a quote!

We would also like to thank Ron Hough at HO Motorsports for more than a decade of support to the RMLRA, and for always giving any legend car racer the help or information they may need. Ron and his son Jacob can be found roaming the pit area helping anyone in need. Without Ron’s support, this exciting news would not have been possible.

How to be a qualified driver in the raffle for the motor:
1. Must be a registered RMLRA member as of May 1st, 2015.
2. Must compete in a minimum of 19 RMLRA sanctioned events.
3. Must be present at the season ending RMLRA banquet.

Bonus:
If a driver meets these requirements, they will receive one entry into the raffle. If a driver competes in 24 RMLRA events, the driver will receive one additional entry into the raffle, making two entries for the driver.  RMLRA is excited to begin the season this weekend. Few notes of interest:

A few notes to remember as we start the season
1. Jim Seip memorial stickers are available and any RMLRA board member can get you a few.
2. Raceceiver radios are mandatory and need to be used during practice and race situations. The channel number is #165.
3. Please be sure to have all drain plugs and remote oil filters are safety wired and tight.  We had a great year last year with minimal to no oil clean ups!
