Still about eleven days left before our next RMLRA race on May 2 at Colorado National Speedway. The schedule gets tougher as we race again on May 16 before our three day weekend of racing starting May 22, 23, 24. This is our only three day weekend of the season  and since this is Memorial Day Weekend you need to start making plans now. Gering and Big Country Speedways are small tracks and they become a drivers track as the less powered engines have a chance on these short flat tracks. As of this morning May 21, there are ten rooms set aside at the Super 8 Motel in Scottsbluff for you to call and hold a room. The racers price for Friday night is $55.00 That is a discount of $16.00 off their regular price. Other Motels in the area are the Monument Inn and Suites in Gering, 308-436-1950 and the Circle S Motel in Gering. 308-436-2157. Since this will be a holiday weekend I would suggest that you make your plans early. For Saturday evening you have a few choices of driving back to the Denver area or book a motel in Cheyenne. I do not have anything to pass along to you for Cheyenne.

I wanted to fill you in and maybe you could share with all the legend drivers this Saturday Big Country Speedway is putting on a test & tune and barbecue my sponsor is supplying the burgers and others can bring a side dish it's $25 a car to get in and gates open at 10 o'clock they can email me and state what side dish they are bringing so I can let the track know the 1 request was no alcohol at the track if they see any alcohol they will shut down hot lot practicing for more information they can go like the Big Country Speedway Facebook page.  BreAnn Adkison email address quickchic7@hotmail.com


Drivers, going to race a sanctioned race soon, and you have not been out yet this season. You will be asked to show your INEX license to get on the track. This license is mandatory to race. Just like NASCAR all drivers must have their license to compete. U. S. Legend Cars is showing the INEX license as the third largest racing organization behind NASCAR and IMCA. The application can be handed to an INEX official at the track, but we would like you to mail it in and also make a copy to support your proof of application.

The 2015 RMLRA membership is our local organization that organizes your schedule and banquet plus all the other things that we do behind the scenes to keep the Legend cars racing along the front range. This is a thirty-five dollar investment. It gives the driver or car owner a voting right in the RMLRA. Become a member and become eligible for the 1200 open motor to be given away to qualified members at the season ending Banquet. It is valued at approximately $4700.00
