RMLRA race scheduled for April 30 @ Colorado National Speedway

Racing this Saturday evening at CNS weather permitting. After three weeks off in our area the Legend cars will attempt to return to the track for a night of racing. As of Monday morning the weather forecast looks like rain showers for many days this week including Saturday. Let us hope that the weather is in our favor to race. Remember because we are still in April the pit gates open at noon and racing starts at 5:30 PM.

Not a lot to mention in our Newsletter today, but do check out the upcoming schedule to plan your races for the season.

May 23 was a practice day at I-25 Speedway and perhaps several of you may have travelled down there to hot lap. The weather was good here in my area and it should have been a great day to get on the track.

Our first two day road trip is coming up in May at Gering, Nebraska and Cheyenne, Wyoming. These two days of racing take place May 20-21. If you are planning to race that weekend start planning your trip now. We have been staying at the Super 8 in Scottsbluff and we hope that you will join us at that location. Plenty of room to park you truck and trailer. Their phone number is 308-635-1600. Remember to mention the Legends racing at Hwy 92. Make your reservations now. You can always cancel. We are located near a steak house that will stay open extra hours to take care of our appetites when the races are over. It is very important that you load up your trailer and leave the track ASAP. We will discuss this at a later time but just wanted to give you a heads up on the steak house. (Whiskey Creek Steak House)

New drivers that have never raced at Hwy 92 and Big Country should ask questions to other drivers as to what gear ratio and springs to use on these two small tracks.
