Wednesday morning and the
weather this weekend looks great with the possibility of eighty degrees come
Saturday. It looks like we can possibly put the heavy coats away for this
Saturday night. Looking forward to a good turn out of cars, for this Saturday night.
Beginning this weekend we will be at Colorado National and then two straight
weeks at I-25 Speedway in Pueblo where some of the drivers who live in the area
hopefully will have their cars at the track, to support the RMLRA 2010 season
debut at I-25. One nice thing about this years schedule is there is only one
race date on Memorial Day weekend.
Here is some information
received since the last Newsletter. The races that are being scheduled at PPIR
will be National point’s races but will not be used for the 2010 RMLRA
championship. These races were scheduled late and the RMLRA point’s races had
been decided upon and will remain as they were scheduled earlier this spring.
Received an e-mail last
night and the number thirty seven car of Ethan Hunter is going up for sale and
it can be seen on the RMLRA.org web page. Sorry to see the team selling the car
after such a short attempt to race the car. For someone who wants a new car
that has been raced twice, here is a new car without a scratch on it.
If you have not read the
article on Big West Racing, Channel 9 News will be airing, Behind the Wheel;
Colorado’s Passion for Speed. It will be aired Saturday, May 22 @ 6:00 PM and
Sunday May 30 @ 5:00 PM. Chris Eggleston will be one of the featured drivers. If
you cannot see the viewing live, make sure you set your recorders.
See you in the Pits.
