A real nice day, this past Saturday for car inspections and some shake down runs at Colorado National Speedway. Several first year drivers received plenty of time on the track, while several experienced drivers had the chance to get a few hot laps in their cars with a lot more practice time than I thought we would receive. Truthfully there was not a large turnout on Saturday in the other divisions.

Fifteen RMLRA cars were on hand for inspections. We had a couple of spin outs and one car may have lost an oil line towards the end of the day and put some oil down on the track. There was no contact on the track and I think everyone went home happy with the time received hot lapping their cars.

Next Saturday, March 26, there will be another day for inspections and hot laps. Last Saturday, cars did not get on the track untill around 11:30 AM. The track held a meeting before turning the cars loose. Many transponders were bought last week and just a couple had them turned on. Get them charged up and in your cars for next weekend if you plan to practice. lap times were available to be seen on the CNS release on Big west Racing.
