![]() Back to the track this weekend After a week off from racing, its back to Colorado National Speedway this weekend. This week at CNS the Legends will be racing with the Super Late Models, Late Models and the Trains. It should be a good weekend of races as all the divisions can put on a good show. I hope that racing your car is a priority. It has come to my attention that there are several drivers that have not paid their 2014 RMLRA membership dues. Take a look in your check book and make sure that you may have not made a mistake and not paid your dues. A couple of new driving prospects have inquired about the Legend racing and the RMLRA in the past month and the latest owner-driver is Bruce Pearson of Arvada. He has just purchased a car and will be working on getting the car ready for the 2015 season. He is excited to get started and may possibly race yet this season. Bruce will drive the number thirty-three Legend when it is ready. He will probably race in the Masters class and he has racing experience. In my Newsletter last week I failed to mention that AJ Canada in his number fifty-one was back on the track at Big Country Speedway. AJ had been down for several weeks while his car was being repaired. Just a reminder to all you drivers experienced or not, the hot lap sessions before the races are not races and all you are practicing for is your qualifying order later in the afternoon. Please find the opportunity during practice to run hard and remember that there are slower cars on the track during these practice times. Gates open at 1:00 PM, Practice at 2:30 PM, races at 6:30 PM. See you in the Pits. |
