Weekend races at Hwy 92 in Gering and Big Country in Cheyenne this weekend

The weather is supposed to change on Wednesday or Thursday and the weather is supposed to dry up and the temperatures to go up. I will appeal to the cars that have been sitting so far this season to try and make a show at Gering and Cheyenne on Friday and Saturday evening. The weather has not been in our favor so far but the rainbow may be shining this weekend. Try to support these two tracks. Big Country tried to open last week and the weather hurt them. I was told that only three cars were on hand. If we expect this track to support us with our schedule we need to show up with race cars.

The track at Gering should open around 2:00 PM and you can get a lot of practice if you need it. I have been told that the track has had some repairs to the racing surface such as filling up the big cracks that had been getting bigger the past few seasons.

I will be at the tracks this weekend and I hope to see a good turnout of cars if possible. Make sure you have made your reservations at the Comfort Inn in Scottsbluff.

Again a great thanks to the cars that supported the races at i-25 Speedway. I like to think that we have a great show for racing fans in the Legends race cars. Keep up the good work. The car counts increase your pay outs and your popularity with the fans. Take your time getting used to Hwy 92 as when we race back to back nights you don’t want to be doing a major repair on Saturday to go racing. The tracks are hard on tires so do bring your old tires to practice on if you need to run a lot of laps.
